Whoa, had no clue about this!

1. Washing Machine Cleaning

To effectively clean your washing machine, place one dishwasher pod directly into the drum and run a hot water cycle. This process dissolves built-up soap scum, eliminates odors, and removes residue that can accumulate inside the machine over time. The enzymes and surfactants in the pod target organic matter and detergent buildup, restoring your washer’s cleanliness and efficiency.

Avoid using this method on washing machines with delicate finishes or older models that specify against chemical cleaners, as it could damage rubber seals or internal components. This cleaning is best done monthly to prevent persistent odor and residue.

2. Drain Unclogging

For clogged drains, drop one dishwasher pod into the affected drain, then carefully pour boiling water down to activate the pod’s enzymes and cleaning agents. Let the solution sit for several minutes to break down grease and debris before flushing with more boiling water. This method can help clear minor blockages caused by organic buildup.

Do not use this technique on PVC pipes that are not rated for high temperatures or on drains with chemical buildup that requires professional treatment. Avoid mixing this with other chemical drain cleaners as it may cause hazardous reactions.

3. Greasy Pots and Pans

When dealing with stubborn grease on cookware, fill the pot or pan with hot water and add one dishwasher pod. Let it soak for about 30 minutes to allow the cleaning agents to break down the grease. After soaking, scrub as usual; the grease should come off much more easily, reducing elbow grease and saving time.

This soak is not recommended for non-stick surfaces that can be damaged by harsh detergents or prolonged soaking. Also, avoid this method on aluminum cookware, as it may cause discoloration.
